kid stuff (and their parents)

A super fun theme day for school: Bubble gum day! I bought a bag of bubble gum and a bingo marker at the dollar store. I drew a bubblegum machine for each kid. Whenever they answered a question right- they got a dot...when they got 3 dots, they got to pick a piece of bubble gum.

Another great art project from Deep Space Sparkle: Chinese Vase Art project.

 Piano lessons have started!

Date nite!

.........................................................
Dave got us a new devotional book to do with the kids at supper time. It's called Kids of Character by Marilyn Boyer. It has a character quality, definition, and verse to go along with each quality. We are memorizing one definition & verse a week. It has been a good time to talk through these things, give examples of how to and how not to do things.

I would love to hear what you are doing with your kids as far as family devotions!

I may just drop everything and head to the dollar store right now! What a great incentive to keep the kids going! :) You're always so full of great ideas.
