green

2 exciting things:

1) I spray painted my kitchen chairs green! All different shades of green. I am so happy about it- except that the whole house smells of fumes so I took the chairs out on the porch. but hear it's going to rain- so we'll prob. die of fumes- but we will look cute in our green chairs while doing it. Some things I have learned- Krylon spray paint is the best. I have said it before, but now I add this: Krylon 2 in one, paint + primer is the best. Except for Wal- Mart had limited colors- so I went to Lowes and got some Valspar and it was ok- not as easy to use as krylon...but Ok, they had some really great greens, though.

(* I did initially spray paint the chairs outside...then brought them in, then took them out :) :)

2) I planted! Mom, you'll be so proud of me! One of my darling sons came to Lowes with me today (just to get spray paint) and we saw some flowers and some clearance plants. We had so much fun picking some and bringing them home. I cannot tell you what a surprise it is to me that I am trying to be a gardener :) And that it is so fun!

I'm proud of you, Sara. I am waiting for the snow to leave here so I can start gardening.

The green chairs are really nice, even if you did cover up that beautiful oak. I like the different shades.

The chairs look great! Your house always inspires me. :) Also, the fact that your house is completely clutter free inspires me!
