I saw it
here. And mine is not as pretty as Meg's but it was a fun experiment.

I like the different types of crayons- the sizes and differences are fun...but, only Crayola melts perfectly and vibrantly. Seriously, every other cheapo crayon melted clearish and melted slower.

You glue your crayons to the canvas (glue gun). Then melt them with a hairdryer.

Just like life- a little messy and not at all perfect; but beautiful nonetheless.

Dave got new glasses! He's cute :)
Our first day of school went well-more on that later. Hope your Monday is nice :)

That is so cool! I am going to have to try that sometime!! :)
Happy Back to School! I love that crayon art, I want to try it myself.
That is just so cool! Wonder if I could use a heat gun? Or if that would be too hot?
Hope your first day of school went well. Our kids went back last Tuesday.
I've been wanting to try that too. Do you think a heat gun would work better and not blow so much so that the crayon can run better?
I just posted that project (of Meg's) to my Facebook last night! I LOVE it! I can't wait to make one...especially since Crayola crayons are on sale for $0.15 at Office Max this week! :)
I love it! I saw that on pinterest (ooh! did you see the black canvas with neon one?) and have so wanted to make one! I've found that when I make the melted crayons the crayola always works better too.
Love the randomness of the last picture about Dave's new glasses, LOL! You are cute too.
Love the art - saw that on pinterest and have been dying to try it! Yours looks good! I think it would be a cute decoration for our playroom:) Happy Back to School!
That is so cool! I've seen a piece of artwork that was made from partially melted flakes of crayons, but that's really neat as well! And I know Dave must be thrilled to finally have his glasses!
Your classroom looks like such a happy place! And Dave is very handsome in his new glasses.
