purple

A year ago I would not have allowed purple into my living room or kitchen. It has crept in somehow....and I like it.

This was supposed to be a photo of my purple mums- see them hiding at the top of the can....brightening my day.

Purple is the new red.

This girl has always allowed purple....and orange, and green, and pink, and red, and yellow.................................................

Have a wonderful Friday! I am sitting on the couch with my poor child who has bowel issues.....prune juice, fiber blend, an enima....(yes! It is that serious!)....and nothing! We would appreciate your prayers to get things moving around here!!!!!!!!!!!! (that may have been too much info...........???)

Love your bits of purple!

We have one that struggled with bowel issues. The only thing that helped was giving him probiotics. We use these: http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Probiotic-15-35 but only give him 1 a day instead of 2. (The bottle lasts for 4 months that way.) It made a world of difference! It took about 48-hours to work from the first dose.
Hope your little one is better very soon!

When my son was small he had the same issue, when it got severe we used glycerin suppositories. Now he and I are on probiotic pills. My stomach is much happier now and so is his!

Your daughter always looks so adorable! Love the canister with the mums!

Hope your child is better soon. We have a little one here that suffers the same problem. We use blue berries and homemade yogurt daily to help. Hope you have a beautiful fall weekend.

We use gelatin suppositories....just over the counter at Walmart or Walgreen's. My son has a lot of issues with constipation, and I have to give him one. The other day, he had one, took a warm bath, and then was able to go...right on the bathmat....now that is TMI. They always work for us pretty quickly, but I know my older child had to use them once and hated them. Good luck, poor thing!!

Bless her heart. I hope she is better and things are clearing out in the poopie department!!! I prayed for you earlier today when I first saw your post but didn't have time to comment. Eleanor has had constipation like this too. We have had to resort to an enima as well and it resulted in a middle of the night explosion in her sleeper. She was three at the time so we just threw the sleeper away because there was so much in it...eeeee. Hopefully yours made it to the potty before and such explosion!! Take care. Have a good weekend!

hmmm...wonder if the purple crept in because of your little one, or because you're just shifting the color palette? :)
Praying for the bowel problems...not fun for either of you! :(

I am
Nanny to Doodle. She has had these issues since she was a baby. She takes Miralax daily and it works in a gentle way. You have to get them going first. She has had the enemas as well and routine appointments with the gastroenterologist at Children's. Good luck, very miserable I am sure.
