your questions, my question

We love our random junkfood cereal nights...Thanks, Dave, for cooking :) :)

Q- did you actually like the Green juice from Trader Joe's?

A- Yes, it is so good- tastes like a combo of kiwi and lime (but not sour). See what an oxymoron I am? One day green juice, the next marshmallow cocoa crunchies..........

Q- Do you use a guide when you draw circles, like the ones you section off on the seat of the chair? Or can you do that just free-hand?

A- I do it free hand, which you can tell if you look closely. My style is a messy/whimsy style- so I guess it works.

Q- Do you spray some kind of sealer over the whole chair when you're done?

A- Yes, I am currently using Krylon's clear spray sealer (found in the spray paint aisle).

My question for you!!!!!!!!....................................................................

What do you like to see here at my art*house? Is it:
-the painting
-home decor
-homeschooling stuff
-cooking
-scripture/spiritual content
-multiple pictures of Dave and I on our dates?!
-photos of my headless kids and their art
-other

I love that I can share our lives on this blog. It is a huge creative outlet for me. Especially for those evenings when I am worn out and have no energy to get out the paints- I can be creative sitting on my couch! And then to be able to get feedback from you, my creative readers! That is priceless.

I would love to know why you are a reader and what you like to read about best when you visit daily (or weekly/monthly/yearly)

I'm not even sure how I found your blog, but was instantly drawn to it's funky fun colors. Your artwork is amazing, and it show through your decor, fashion and humor. My word for you...fun! Love hearing about your artwork and your daily momma role. :)

I love it all, too! My favorite is probably seeing the outfits that your daughter puts together. Priceless!!

I started reading your blog on the recommendation of my sister for the home decorating. I love your style of kinder-chic. I continue to read not only for the decor, but for the joy that comes across in your writing. You are someone I would love to have over for dinner, sit by at church or have a homeschool co-op. I am years older than you, but I think if we lived closer we could be friends.

What initially made me stop and take a peek at your blog was your house. I love it!! It is so much like how I would have my house if I wasn't married to my "all white walls, please" hubby. (Thankfully we have full on compromise in our marriage and I have my tweaks of color here and there.) What kept me coming back was everything else!!! I love all the homeschooling posts, the date nights, the cooking....all of it!!

Hi Sara!
I'm not entirely sure how I found your blog either, but it is one of my favorites! Especially as I am a homeschooling mom of three, love my hubby dearly & am on the creative side. I haven't commented before, but today is the day.
I think too that it is nice to come across a "real" mom who loves Jesus & shares her days. You are a blessing!

I love it all. In so many ways we are very different. I have no children, teach in a city ghetto,go to a very liberal church, and live in a small apartment. But! I love to see your projects, read your stories and enjoy your virtual friendship! I find the blogs I read year after year are a mish mash of real life. The decor only blogs or kids only blogs loose my attention after a while. Keep on keeping on!

Well, as your sis-in-law, I know you are the real deal! I love reading all the various posts you do, it makes me feel like I'm getting to visit with you all regularly....wish we could visit in person!! I REALLY appreciate your bold testimony of what God is doing in your life, and think it is AWESOME that you share that with all the people that read your blog. Keep it up, girlfriend!

Your house, decorating style was the reason I first stumbled on your blog, but since I've been here the answer is all of the above! :) And you forgot three: Eating your way through the alphabet, thrift store finds, and fun little questions like this! I love your blog and it's many different topics.

Your blog was one of the first that I found. I loved the color and how your house looked. Since then I enjoy all your posts. I'd love to see what your kids really look like but I understand. I think I have said that before, hah.

As a homeschooling, Jesus loving, married, Mommy of three, I love all that you share in your blog!
Your style and your artwork are very inspiring...um, I have a small confession: just last night I was at Target--a rare "night off"!--wandering the aisles with my BFF and I saw a set of drinking glasses with red polka dots and in my head I said, "Oh, Sara would love these."--I'm not a crazy stalker I promise!:P But how weird that I would think of a person I don't even know and want to tell her about these great glasses--on clearance even!;) I think that says a lot about how "real" you come across in your posts..it's all good, Sara. Thanks for sharing!

I think I found your blog through the crafty crow and I keep coming back to see your creative projects, fun house and of course, your cute, headless kids! :)

Although I have different beliefs than you I enjoy the color and fun on your site. I also appreciate that while you share you views (homeschooling, church, etc..) you aren't preaching that it has to be that way. I started reading your blog for the homeschooling but have followed it ever since I saw your scrapbook paper walls- best idea ever!

I'm with everyone else. I love it all! I love that you update regularly, I wish I did that myself! And although we "knew" one another in college, I feel like I know you better now!

I love it all, but my favoritest (is that a word) are your home decorating and artwork.

I like all of it. I'm not a homeschooler, but I have kids and it is interesting to hear about what you are doing with them, plus I like your book tips. I am a lover of children's books. All of your creative stuff is great and I'm always interested in a great recipe too. I appreciate the thoughtful spiritual posts too.

I love all of the things on your blog - by the way, I just commented on one of your blogs & saw that it was from March (the blog about being ok with who you were). You'll have to read what I said - sorry that I blogged on such an old entry. I wasn't watching the dates:)

Also, I love to read your homeschooling ideas.

First off, thanks for answering those questions of OURS!

Oh Sara, you know how much I love all your COLOR (on your walls and in your heart), your amazing kinder-chic house, your creativity and talent, your energy and humor, and of course your adorable and inspirational paintings!!! Those are the things I love most, but certainly not all - everything else is just icing on the cake :) You're da bomb!

I'll echo everyone else and say "all of it!!" I was also first drawn in by your decor, art, crafty projects, but I love that the YOU come through in your posts... the date nights, clothing, kids' art, homeschooling, the JOY... love it all.

Its hard to pick a favorite because I really do enjoy the mix of what you write about but if I HAD to pick, I'd say I like reading about the painting.

I enjoy it all! I would love to hear about your daily devotions also. I need some inspiration in that department too. But definately your artwork is a motivator to get some of my piles of art projects done! I love your thrifty finds and all your color in your home. The kids are always fun, I like to see what your doing with them because I hope to be a stay at home mom and home school my children one day!! Thanks for sharing!

I love seeing your paintings and home decor! I am refinishing my kitchen table and I enlisted my friend to help me pick out a paint color... we went for aqua and I immediately said- I'm going to have a Sara from Sarah's art house table! We both cracked up!
