red, white, blue............and yellow

What a perfect day...gorgeous weather....red & white stripes, polka dots, parades, floats, friends, candy, freezie pops, face paint.....

small town parade....

There he is! The star of the parade :) :) Everyone who helped out with our church float wore our yellow shirts & passed out flyers for our family fun fest (we have it every year- an outreach to our community- free food, games, gospel face paint, pony rides, etc..)

The #1 float creator- Rolando

With Jacqueline by the float- the whole verse says; So if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed. She had the hard job of initially writing the verse- then a bunch of us helped fill in the black letters. Great job, Jacq!

(I stole these from you, Monica, hope you don't mind :) So there was a flag pole at the back, then the cross, then the military people, and finally the kids (and me, I got to sit in the middle of the kids and keep them on track with the smile and wave detail :)

Chad & Lauren (who, by the way, are related to us now through our dogs. Their dog is Sadie's baby brother...so what does that make us?)

Betty, Suehaley, & Marilou.

Jacqueline & Janine

They painted my face- a star on each cheek- I will never wash my face again! Ever.

We painted faces before the fireworks Saturday night. This brought a lot of people to our booth where we were able to invite them to the family fun fest- and also give away gospel bracelets- and one girl learned about Jesus and trusted Him as her savior.

Pretty soon it was too dark to paint....

happy {11 years} anniversary to us :) :)
We always get to see fireworks on our anniversary.

Pastor & Nancy

What a happy day- what a sweet church family we have- work together & play together- pray together & grow together......in the unity of the Spirit & the bond of peace.

Fun pictures. The fourth is so much fun when your kids are little. I love seeing how other towns celebrate.

What an exciting time!
Especially for that one little accepting soul who was changed forever...
Gotta go get a tissue.
