Krispy Kreme

This is the new thing for our 4 year old- drawing ballerinas with those frilly tutu's. Everyone has to wear a tutu.

Yesterday was such a fun day. We had a field trip to AC Moore. The kids got to color and draw and use all sorts of fun art supplies. Then we went to Krispy Kreme for a *few* doughnuts. I honestly was going to get the kids and I a doughnut each.....how did I end up with 2 boxes at the checkout? It all happened so fast and the featured banana cream doughnut- SO GOOD!

We got to watch the doughnuts being glazed...but sad to say the "hot now" light was not on...:(

We talked about this yesterday- a lot of times Northerners like Dunkin' Donuts better. Not me- I pick Krispy Kreme for sure. Or what about Tim Hortons - for my Canadian family and friends??

Dunkin' Dounuts
Krispy Kreme
Tim Hortons

Which it the best? I have to say that I love DD's color scheme- the pink and orange is totally cute- but Krispy Kreme's red and green with the polka dots is just a tad better :)

Rich is voting for DD, I'm voting for KK, and we both vote for TH- we honeymooned in Canada so that is dear to us. Those first breakfasts as a couple...out exploring Nova Scotia:) Good memories:)

TWO BOXES, SARA! You know what we bring to you when we are in NC... Panera bagels! YUM! Low fat raspberry muffins from Tim Horton's are super duper good! Right now we are "rollin` up the rim" at Tim's winning all kinds of goodies. Well, no. We just get "please play again."

you know you can't eat one kk donut, even if they aren't hot!!

My favorite... DD's Pumpkin Spice Coffee! I try to avoid the donuts at all costs so that I can still fit into my tutu. (j/k!)

Krispy Kreme...hands down, no contest. There is a place here in Jacksonville called the Donut Shoppe which is out this world. Fortunately for my waist line both are across town and not around the corner.

Krispy Kreme, all day long! There is just something special about them. We only have 2 locations in our area left, so we maybe get a "hot and now" every few years, but it is so worth the calories.

Kripsy Kreme for sure!! They are moist and light...and SO delicious. My favorites are just the plain glazed or raspberry jelly filled! What a fun field trip for the kids!

Never heard of TH, DD use to be much better when I was younger (I think they were not as massed produced), and KK is ok. My favorite now is from a place called Yum Yum's, they have the best peanut butter chocolate doughnuts, looks like a boston cream but with a whipped peanut butter filling, mmmmm. Also really good coconut cream. So if you ever find yourself near Pennsylvania, find yourself a yum yum's. :)

Mmmmm Krispy Kreme for sure, but they never should have brought their product into the stores, they never taste as good and going there for the "experience" is what made it so fun I think! Still, they are yummy!!!!

I love Krispy Kreme, but we don't have any in NY. I like Tim Horton's Mocha. We had Tim Horton's in Maine...great place. Now I eat donuts from a local bakery and drink vanilla chai's from Dunkin Donuts.

Sara...definately Krispy Kremes...we sure miss those from the West!!! But, I am with your mom. We ALWAYS bring Panera bagels home. That is my favorite place. I don't even eat donuts and bagels, so what am I talking about.=)
