the important things..........

I forgot to show you this!

And this......done a few years ago- but I recently saw it again when we were at Kristen's house.

But painting these 10 chubby little toes and 10 tiny fingernails...........definitely the best painting project going on around here.....:)

It's the small everyday moments that I want to bottle up and keep forever........

I must say, as much as I adore your art, and you KNOW that I do.... those pieces up there were totally eclipsed by the painting of those cute little toes. As for bottling it and keeping it forever - you already have. :) Thank you for sharing such a precious moment, Sara :)

Such a sweet photo! I always loved having my fingers and toes painted when I was a little girl. Have a great week!

Love both paintings, but the colors in that second one are just fanastic! I can picture it hanging in my boys' room, near the bunkbeds. :-)

Oh, goodness, nothing compares to precious little people. My girly-girl is in 4th grade now and often prefers to do her own nails. But my 2-year old son still requests that his be painted with "boy polish" (read: clear.) I should get some pictures of it!!

we love the toe painting too. my Miss Pretty Pretty is three and still puts her fingers in her mouth so no fingernail painting for her yet. many, many times, I ask God to help me remember this exact moment.

You are such a good momma...I don't even think I own a bottle of nail polish...I should buy it JUST for my girls:) All your artwork is lovely, even the toes:)

I can still remember my mom painting my nails when I was about your daughters age. Those are some great moments your daughter will always remember :)

AWE... the memories of those chubby little toes and fingers.. Now they are 16 years old and paint themselves.. What a love to do that again.. I wonder what she'd say if I asked her. haha

Hi Sara! I am a friend of Sue Oesterwind's (at Heritage in California) - I LOVE your artwork and am in the process of talking my husband into some pieces that we NEED in our home! The top one that was a gift for another friend of ours is definitely a favorite :)
