her closet needs help

Our darling needs a little help in the organizational dept......

Much more organized....but.....wouldn't it be cute to take the doors off and paint the closet purple????

It just so happens that I have purple paint on hand. I just can't get it open!!!! HELP! Who has gotten a free quart of paint from Glidden? How do you get that white ring off the top? (my methods were not working)

LOL! The first time I couldn't get that ring off for the life of me. I ended up using a saw! And then I cut into the metal and eventually spilled a lot of my precious green paint. Boo! Haven't tried getting the ring off my second can yet. Sorry I am of no help!

Good luck getting that ring off! Purple would be cute.
Maybe with some chalkboard paint polkadots! :)

I saved my instructions - for whenever I get around to using mine!

These are the instructions - let me know if you'd like me to forward them to you!

Place a pair of pliers over the outer portion of the locking ring and clamp down. Apply an upward pressure on the pliers until the locking ring separates from the container. Peel the remaining portion of the locking ring off by hand.

Removing the ring from the container typically causes the locking ring to deform. Therefore, the locking ring is non-reusable after its initial removal.

Still have questions? Feel free to call our customer service line at 1-800-GLIDDEN. Don't forget to allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of your free quart of paint.

Purple would certainly match, but for me taking the doors off would really push me out of my comfort zone! There's some strange little comfort in knowing you can close the door on a mess if you need to. :)

Don't drink the paint Sara! And mmm, those taco filled pasta shells look yummy, I wonder if I could make a gluten free version!

Just keep pulling harder than you'd dream you need to. It popped off for me eventually. I'm painting our little girl's crib with my free quart of "creamy buttermilk!" :)
