We have a lot of books here too, but I don't know if I'd say they're my favorite decorating item. For me, I'd say it's framed photos. I rarely take any pictures down - I just buy more frames!

Hmmm, this changes often for me. Photos are definitely one that is a regular favorite.

Changes for me to... family photos all over the house, birds (bathroom is all birds and nests), folk art, funky primitive snowmen are the in the kitchen and bedroom, living room is the up north cabin room, lots of buffalo plaid, mounts, decoys and a 100 year old player piano.
Fun question Sara :)

Hey Sara,

Love, love, love all the books! I am an elementary reading teacher on my 25th year of teaching. I have spent a small fortune on children's books. I see a few of my favorite on your shelves.
Love all your decorating throughout your home too!
Hugs from Texas.

Oh Sara, we are so joined at the hip! LOL! I've been working on a blog post about children's books, and I click here and look what's waiting for me to see!

I too, love books, polka dots, and you already know I love quilts! In fact I scored an awesome one at a sale today (woot!) - I'm sure it'll be on my blog soon!

Well, you know I love COLOR in general. I love to decorate with artwork, writing, mix old woodenware with funky new things, quilts, my croquet balls of course, signage, photos if they're in groups, I never met an armoire I didn't like, and last but not least, a huge weakness of mine is clocks!

We read yertle the turtle in church this week - I've heard the story but did not remember the cover and art - I LOVE IT! It was black and green and in the middle of church I was telling my husband about your black & green love - haha (woops). But then you posted! Funny!
