Happy Saturday!

I am staying strong!!! No Christmas decorations here until after Thanksgiving!!! Even though we did go and see the Christmas parade today and we have been listening to Christmas music. We are going to have one last week of fall and Thanksgiving before we get out all of that stuff.

So much to be thankful for! We need to get decorating our thankful tree!!! Here is last years:

everyone writes what they are thankful for on the leaves.

There is just a ton of cute Thanksgiving crafts and food at Family Fun right now.

Here is a post that I did 2 years ago.....thought it still holds true today....

What I Love about Fall................

Pumpkins,Gourds,&Squash

Little Girl tights in every pattern and color!
(this is where I usually hang the boy's artwork...but I took it down just so I could get this picture....isn't it funny that I cannot find the time to even clean my house, but I can hang up little tights and take pictures from every angle?!?!?)
*******************************

OK, so admit it- who has the Christmas tree up yet?!?!?

I don't have my tree up yet! But I did get a great Vinyl Quote. It says "Joyous Holidays start with loving hearts and a Happy Home" I got a great deal on it so I couldn't help but put it up.

Love the fall tree idea with all that we are thankful for... May have to steal that idea.

Hugs.

I have mine up! The next three weekends are really busy for me, and I wanted to be able to enjoy my Christmas break, not feel rushed through. I have never put mine up this early though!

I am waiting until the day after Thanksgiving. I don't like to shop black Friday so I always put up the tree that day!:)

My mama used to say children grow up too fast and go away; laundry and cleaning will be here to stay. Go ahead and hang those tights!

We don't leave the house on black friday (too much traffic and people) so we spend the day at home listening to Christmas music and decorating. I've been very tempted to start already, but I agree, one more week of fall things would be nice. Love your Thankful tree, great idea!

Stayin strong here too :) NO Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving! I get kind of annoyed that people just kind of skip Thanksgiving now and head right to Christmas. I have been listening to Christmas music though and thinking about my Christmas baking :) Black Friday will be Christmas tree day around here.

Sara
You are one of my spiritual mentors.
Thanks for leaving your comment this weekend.
You have always been so great about praising God and being honest in your struggles.
You are awesome!

No Christmas decorations here until after Thanksgiving. We will put the tree up on Friday. I love Thanksgiving and want to savor it before the hustle and bustle of Christmas.
