doggie daycare {and a painting}

Riley came to stay with us for the day. Poor thing is being terrorized by Sadie. He is telling her, "fine, Dear, whatever you say--just get out of my personal space!!"

"please, Aunt Sara, get me away from that crazy female poodle!!!"

Who can resist those eyes?!

A painting for a sweet friend who gave me the below art to use for inspiration. And the verse- awesome words! Our Lord God is with us wherever we go!!!

**OK, so if you are serious and you want to have a contest to see who can lose 10 pounds first - e-mail me -sara mincy @ g mail.com (no spaces). That would be fun!

Love the new painting and a good verse for my day--I have a lot to do (so I am on the computer, why?).

On the 10 lb. challenge, I am not taking you on, but I did want to say I have lost 22 pounds so far this summer. Just went to a back to school function and everyone wanted to know what plan I was on or what pills I was taking. I told them it was the old fashioned way--moving more, eating less. So many people were disappointed, hoping it was some new magic way to lose weight.

I think the key this time for me has been #1--give it to God, #2 I really got to a point of being sick of it, sick of hiding in pictures, sick of try9ing to find clothes to make me look skinnier, etc. #3 a healthy attitude about losing it, I didn't put in on instantly, not going to lose it instantly.

Ok, you didn't ask for tips or advice, but I shared anyway. Have a wonderful day. I am off to paint after seeing your stuff Ü.

Those puppy eyes are so precious. He is adorable. Reminds me of our dog when she was a puppy.

That painting almost has a metal look to it, like it was painted on something bronze or copper. Very cool!

Are you selling that painting of Joshua 1:9? I want it! I said that verse all through my radiation treatment...during my scans all last year. I'm such a wimp I still quote it when they draw blood. :-) ?????
