Road Trip Creating

Long drives are so much more fun now that I bring along some fabric, thread, needle, & scissors. (all we need is a travel paint set....)

We are in SC tonight with family and will be in GA for the weekend for Dave's concert.

Looks like a crazy pair of pants!!! I can't do a lot in the car besides sit there, otherwise I get dizzy. Lucky you too be able to create on a road trip!

Love your little layered posies, great colors and patterns (of course)! I'm not much good at doing anything in the car except driving and looking out the window to count the Cracker Barrel signs ; )
Have a great weekend!

That's exactly what I do on road trips!!! If I had to just sit there, I would go nuts. Usually I'm sewing something - lots of pieces around me, scissors & thread in the door handle thingy - a huge ordeal to get in and out for breaks, but manage it somehow. Never wear black if I can help it! I have given a lot of thought on how to take paints along and haven't come up with anything very practical yet. Let me know if you do!

I always end up with a dog on my lap whether I'm the passenger OR the driver! Your fabric flowers are super cute -- are you making pins? They'd look really cute on kids' clothes!

Lovely! (And I love mine too!) What nice colors.
How have you gone about building up a fabric stash?

I don't know if it would work for painting but I saw a tip once. I have thought of using it for my son. It said to take a cafetira tray and glue it to a pillow case. and when you are ready to use it then slip the pillow in and you have a lap table. And the edges keep things from rolling onto the floor!
