Giveaway Goody Bag

(next time I need to get a hand model :)

Leave a comment and your name will be put in a hat for this little prize package. I would love any feedback in your comment- like what you think about the ring, how well you think the clothespins would sell on etsy, how much would you pay for the fabric flowers--stuff like that. I am always trying to decide if I should add more merchandise to my etsy shop or not.

contents of goody bag:
*2 fabric flowers (pin them to a shirt, jacket, or bag....glue them onto a card or tape to your wall--the possibilities are endless)
*red button ring
*2 large clothespin magnets
*2 small clothespin magnets

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
I will pick a winner on Saturday.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Thanks, Gigi for more fabric scraps!!!! I had SO much fun in the car on the way home--5 hours of cutting and sewing bliss :)

I love your ring. This looks really great! So I think such items would sell, also these cute flowers and I just love, love those clothespins. As I am from switzerland, no idea about pricing.
Not sure if you send overseas. I just wanted to say I like all your handworks. Your painting is so bright and fun. It actually inspires me also for my quilting.
Love Martina

You should definitely sell them on Etsy -- I think people are always looking for a little something to make them smile. These flowers would do it! Do they have a pin on the back? If they did, you could probably command more money?

Stephanie said...

I think your flower pins would sell and the clothes pin magnets I have some similar to those on my fridge except the design is just scrap paper glued on, yours are hand painted! Thanks for the giveaway!!

Great goodies!! I'm terrible at pricing items, I always shoot too high or too low!
I love the fabric flower pins, I have some and I love them. They dress up anything.

Jessica said...

I am making flower pins too and I love yours! Hoping you are enjoying having your hubby "home" this summer!

Jessica said...

So cute! I'd probably use the flowers in my little girl's hair...it could easily be pinned or clipped to a ponytail holder. Love the clothes pins...what an easy way to dress up something so mundane and make it attractive to use for lots of things. As for pricing, I have no idea...sorry I'm no help there.

I love all your colors too : ) The flowers pins are great, with all the layers & colors. I would think you could sell them for $5-$8 each. The patterns and colors on your clothespin are really fun too. They're a nice little add on item, you could sell them alone ($1.50?) or in sets of 3, 6, etc.
Great giveaway, and again, I'm so impressed that you made stuff in the car!!

Count me in!!!! I love all your stuff! And you could totally put ANYTHING on Etsy!

The clothespins are magnetic? Genius.

Do the fabric flowers have something on back? Maybe you could do some as magnets, some as broaches, even a bracelet, hair pins, or on a headband. They would look cute on just about anything, or anywhere in the house.

Crossing my fingers!!

I have to leave another comment, so don't accidentally enter me twice. (But make sure to enter me once!!)

Another thought with the clothes pins. You could nail a few to a wooden ruler or yard stick, for a children's artwork display to hang! Wouldn't that be cute? --Especially all painted with Mincy designs!

Tammy said...

As usual, I love them all! Thanks for the chance to win!

I think you should put them all in your etsy shop! I really don't know about the pricing!?

Love the idea "sun-kissed savages" gave for the flowers, all wonderful ideas!

Mimi-n-Moe's Mom said...

i love these. i would consider a mix of them...if you put the price low people would add them which would increase the ammt you will get...like $1.00 for two of your choice? Just a thought...

also, maybe stick a magnet on the back of the clips...and you could put a flower on the clip too.. that would be soo cute on the fridge...those would cost more, for sure!
anyway, thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

Okay, LAST comment. I start playing outside, cleaning, whatnot and then the flowers come back into my mind. Great marketing skills you have goin' on. ;-)

I was thinking...you could put some velcro on the back on the flowers, and the other velcro circles on the headbands, bracelets, broaches, whatever. Then they would all be interchangeable. My daughter has sandals like that, with various embellishments. (And those would indeed make cute sandal embellishments, too!!)

Maybe you should branch out into hats, or headbands at the very least. I love your fun use of color. Please consider this my respectful request to win your most generous and festive giveaway!

Wow - how funny - I made some fabric flowers like these once, with a safety pin on back so they could decorate a handbag or dress - but mine were made only out of different colored felt and a bright little button. I love that yours feature different patterns of fabric. I like the color combinations too -so pretty!

Fun giveaway!

I don't know that the clothespins would have a good enough profit margin to take the time to post them in Etsy.

Love the flowers, I think they'd sell well.

Thank you for hosting this great giveaway.

I say to go ahead and add things to your Etsy store. Sometimes you never know what will sell, and there really isn't any risk. Go for it!
