fab fabric

I hesitate to tell you this because you will hate me, but I won another little giveaway....Laura Gunn designs this gorgeous fabric and she gave a way a bunch of it. I cannot tell you how beautiful this stuff is in person. Dave and I love it so much we are probably going to either tack it to canvases and put up in his office, or frame it.

If you go to her website you will see she has just been to the quilt market and there are samples of things made with this fabric.

**********************************************************************Speaking of fabric- I got another little stack of it in the mail. Chrissie Grace is writing another book and I am one of many who get to collaborate for it! How much fun this is going to be. You can see on Chrissie's sidebar the other artists and their websites. Anyway- for one of the projects I will be using this fabric and I can't tell you what we are doing- you'll just have to wait until the book is published!! I hate waiting!!!!

The neat little piles are hard to maintain - here you can see the fabric is already being enjoyed.

And in other news: we were visited by Her Royal Highness (highmess :) and the royal puppy :)

Yes, Her Royal Highmess requires a lot of food and entertainment. Tea parties until all hours and snacks stuffed into the dainty mouth. (Thank You, Lord that you allowed me to mother a little girl.....and boys- there is so much to learn about each one and each one is special in Your eyes. Please help me to see the sweetness and blessings in the everyday- instead of the messes that have to be cleaned up afterward :)

I am so glad you won that fabric. Laura's designs and colors are very similar in some ways to your own. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.

What's up with winning everything?? Do you have connections or what:) Love the fabric. I'm sure you will do something wonderfully creative with it, so it was definitely "won" by the right person;)

Oh and the little tea parties are just too cute. My girls never did tea parties. I need to set one up.

Oh, you lucky thing, you! I knew that you won as I saw it on Laura's blog. I love, love her fabric, too. The scattered lantern pods on cream and the growing lantern pods on aqua just arrived yesterday. I'm dying to create with them!

I love the members of the Royal Family!

Can't wait to see what you're cooking up...
