Easy Gift Idea for the Kids to Make

Found these photos from 2 years ago. We made these scarves for all of the grandparents and here are my mom & dad modeling them. Just cut fleece for a long and cozy scarf. Have the kids cut out shapes- we did hearts and mittens. Teach the kids the blanket stitch (our kids did about 3 stitches and then passed it off to mom. We used fabric paint for the writing.

Great idea!! I love homemade gifts! Also, enjoyed your last couple of posts now that I'm catching up-I get up around 6:30 every day and get dressed, bed made right away. Then I have my quiet time and the kids can come downstairs at 7. We try to all be dressed and fed, rooms cleaned, and ready for school by 8. It keeps me sane!

Cute idea to put personalized messages on these scarves. I made a whole bunch of fleece scarves and sold them at a craft fair once. They went fast, but I lived in Maine, so the there was a lot of need.
