pumpkins from a salad spinner

I got the salad spinner idea from my friend Jenn who got it from the Crafty Crow. Cut paper to fit in your spinner. Squirt in the paint (red, yellow, & orange for pumpkins). Close and spin. Use washable paint (thanks, Jenn).

Color the backs if you want to tape to a window. Cut out stems and tape on.

Fun and so nice to have pumpkins to hang around the house.

I never thought about doing it with pumpkins! I'll try that with Jenna!! It's a fun craft, isn't it?

Cute idea! The pumpkins look great with your red decor.

I thought one pic looked like you used coffee filters. They would work, wouldn't they? You could tape them to the windows.

Will the pumpkins still be there when I arrive? Can't wait!

No way! My kids and I made pumpkins too today! We didn't do the spinning paint ones, but we painted ours and hung them in our kitchen window. I'll have to put a picture on my blog tomorrow. Too funny...we are on the same wave length!!
:)

I love using the salad spinner with my kids at school too. The pumpkins are a good idea. We made some cute turkeys last year with it. Another way to elicit some language...
