Comfort Food & April Fools Food (to trick your family with)

Someone asked me for this recipe today, so I thought I'd just cut and paste the recipe here for anyone needing a comforting (fattening) dish to feed the family.
Mac N Cheese
3 c. noodles
6 T. butter

4 c. milk

1 tsp. salt

dash pepper
4 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
3 lg. eggs

Cook noodles, drain. Add butter to hot noodles and stir. Beat eggs; add milk, salt, pepper & cheese (leave some to sprinkle on top). Add noodles to mixture. Pour into 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake at 350 for 45 min (usually longer....or leave time to cool it down a little- it will set better) Serves 8-10

I cannot wait til tomorrow (April fools day!!). I have been wanting to make these fun little recipes from Family Fun. They have a bunch of cute little ideas like serving your family scoops of ice cream topped with caramel to look like mashed potatoes & gravy....they bring their fork to their mouth and SURPRISE!!!!! And look at the spaghetti here- cake with piped buttercream icing to look like noodles, malt ball meatballs, and strawberry sauce.
I am going to try the little hamburgers made out of Nilla wafer buns and York peppermint patty hamburgers AND the strawberry pie that is actually shepherds pie. Should make for a fun suppertime- I'll let you know how it turns out. Go here to see the recipes.
